There are eight industrial companies on the territory of the Cherven region. These are the Cherven Woodworking Company, the Smilovichi Walk-Mill, the Cherven Printing Plant, the Vioska-EmulBit Company (43% of the total production output of the Cherven region), the Cherven Vegetable Dehydration Plant, the Cherven Integrated Logging-Lumbering Company, the Belarusian-Czech Joint Venture “Smilovichi Tannery”.
They produce furniture, timber, footwear, bitumen, leather goods, dried vegetables, starch, beverages. Moreover, local fishery Volma produces fish and the Cherven integrated plant (a branch of the Cherven consumer’s society) produces bakery products.
