The Belarusian government is inviting the World Bank to take part in a project to build a rail link between the Belarusian capital and Minsk National Airport.

Belarus' National Art Museum ranks high among the world's leading museums, Belarus Culture Minister Yuri Bondar said at the official ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of the museum, BelTA has learned.

The official described the construction of a factory in the industrial park to make Euro-6 engines using a complete fabrication cycle as a strategic direction in localizing the production of automobiles. The engines will be sold to BelGee and exported to Europe.

These enterprises include Zhabinka Sugar Refinery, Skidel Sugar Refinery, Gorodeya Sugar Refinery, and Slutsk Sugar Refinery. These Belarusian enterprises will be able to supply beet pulp to China from 30 October.

Minsk hotels have been more popular this year than in 2018. Their occupancy rate increased by nearly 6% while the export of tourism services amounted to about $49 million in January-August, BelTA learned from Yuri Natychko, Deputy Head of the Central Office for Consumer Market of the Minsk City Executive Committee, on 30 October.

Minsk Oblast and the Czech Republic are interested in close cooperation, experience exchange, and boosting export and import of goods and services, including through joint ventures, Minsk Oblast Vice Governor Nikolai Rogashchuk said as he met with a Czech delegation led by Czechia Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Martin Tlapa during their visit to Minsk Oblast, BelTA has learned.
