Vladimir Zinovsky highlighted the good-neighborly character of relations between Belarus and Lithuania, and the existence of common economic interests. "Despite the fluctuations in the foreign economic situation, our country traditionally are among the most important trading and investment partners for each other", - he stressed.
In this regard, the minister noted the timeliness of the discussion in the format of the committee meeting further steps to enhance trade and economic cooperation in areas such as investment, joint ventures, agriculture, petrochemicals, transportation and high technology. Vladimir Zinovsky reminded of the potential of the industrial park "Great Stone" and the possibility of creating it in production - the interest in this previously showed the Lithuanian side.
