The document was signed in the presence of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Vietnam President Truong Tan Sang on 9 December, BelTA has learned.
After the talks, the presidents of Belarus and Vietnam made a joint statement on the strengthening and comprehensive development of relations between the countries.
A number of documents were signed at the level of agencies. In particular, the sides concluded an agreement on the education of Vietnamese citizens at Belarusian universities; a roadmap of cooperation development between the academies of sciences of the two countries, a plan of cooperation in tourism for 2016-2018.
Apart from that, Belarus' Vitebsk Oblast and Vietnam's Binh Thuan Province signed a memorandum of cooperation.
