At the Belarusian-UK investment forum in 2014 it was announced that Belarus is going to place ten-year maturity eurobonds for $1 billion. As BelTA reported earlier, Belarus seeks to be present on the international financial markets. The country has already placed two debut eurobond issues maturing in 2015 and 2018 respectively. The total amount of the funds raised through the eurobonds is $1.8 billion. Of the amount, $1 billion will be redeemed in 2015.
