MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Nigeria are gearing up to sign an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Nigeria.
“In accordance with the preparation for the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in education, a meeting took place between representatives of the embassy and rectors of higher education institutions of Nigeria. Attending the event were also representatives of universities in Abuja, the states of Benue, Imo, Taraba and Ekiti,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The parties reached an agreement to work out the possibility of organizing joint training of Nigerian citizens with Belarusian universities.
