Belarus' world number 34 Aryna Sabalenka has reached the round of Last 16 at the 2018 Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, BelTA has learned. The Belarusian defeated Czech Karolina Pliskova, the world number 8, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5. In the women's doubles event Belarus' Lidziya Marozava and Shuko Aoyama of Japan will play the Hungarian-French duet of Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic for the berth in the quarterfinal.
