Belarus' First Vice Premier Vasily Matyushevsky has confirmed that Belarus is set to place eurobonds for $1 billion in 2015, BelTA has learned.

He noted that if the external and internal conditions are favorable, Belarus will float eurobonds. The amount of eurobonds is currently under consideration. “This is a matter we should discuss with out agent banks,” Vasily Matyushevsky explained.

This year's action program of the Belarus government stipulates flexible measures for the economy to respond to external challenges. The information was released by Belarusian First Deputy Economy Minister Alexander Zaborovsky before the session of the Council of Ministers on 17 February, BelTA has learned.

As part of the project the BRSM activists will arrange patriotic campaigns and contests

The patriotic project “Commemorating the heroism, glorifying the Victory” will be held in Minsk Oblast in the run-up to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, BelTA learned from Acting First Secretary of the Minsk Oblast Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Alexei Pivovarov.
